The
Unidade Virtual do SESC-SP (SESC-SP Virtual Unit) on Internet
will be similar to those existing in all of the State of São
Paulo. A meeting point to exchange ideas, a doorway to cultural
activities, leisure, and services. Our project allows for promoting
activities such as on-line technique training and workshops,
theme chatting and discussion forums, invariably based on content
directed to a sector of the public with specific interests.
The Community Area on this website will start on March 15 next.
This Virtual Unit is also the best place for you to get to know
all about what is going on in SESC-SP. In addition to the data
base with complete programming of our units that may be consulted
whatever way you think best, here you will also find photographs
and information on cultural, sports and leisure facilities for
each unit.

Problemas Brasileiros magazines, in addition to the SESC ONLINE
electronic magazine with reports and articles renewed several
times a week with all of the highlights in Serviço Social
do Comércio de São Paulo programming. Hotsites

- Serviço Social do Comércio is a private, non-profit institution
of national scope. SESC was established in 1948 by initiative
of the business entrepreneurs that maintain and administer the
organization. SESC is intended to promote social welfare, cultural
development, and improved quality of life for workers in business
and in services, for their families and the community in general. |

of the state of São Paulo makes activities and services in diverse
areas available to the public, namely, food, dental care, culture,
arts, leisure, sports and physical activities, social tourism,
and a holiday season, child development, environmental education
and care for the elderly. For such, the entity has a network
of physical facilities consiting of 27 units spread out through
the Capital and Up-country. These are cultural and sports centers,
country centers, and centers specialized in dental care, cinema,

A registration
card from SESC is a passport to take part in various activities
to advantage. The following documents are necessary for SESC
inscription:
Businessperson - work permit of the titleholder; marriage
certificate, and birth certificate for children under the
age of 21 years. The inscription fee varies according to the
wage/salary bracket. The inscription may be done at any SESC
unit and is valid nation-wide for 12 months.
Retired Businessperson - work permit and INSS social security
booklet.
Non-Businessperson - ID card and consultation at the unit
of interest on availability of a vacancy.
