anhembi

The heart of the World Cultural Forum will be in the Anhembi Park and its diverse spaces. The Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion is the largest of Latin America with an internal area of 57,600 m² (240m x 240m); the area is covered and can hold two fairs at the same time. The space will enter the Guinness Book as the only one of the like with such a structural feature: a trellised aluminium roof, which was lifted from the ground all at once. Twenty-two large fairs are organized there throughout the year. The recently built Western Pavilion will also be used; it is next to the Exhibition Pavilion with a structure that can be entirely dismounted; these are 8 thousand m², with some extra space for the large fairs that take place in the Complex.

The Palácio das Convenções [Convention Palace] has 5 auditoriums, 4 rooms, and 5 halls with a total area of 18 thousand m². On the upper deck, another 14 thousand m² of open-air area, with a panoramic view on the city of São Paulo can also be used. The Great Auditorium holds 3,080 people on three different levels. The Elis Regina Auditorium (in homage to one of the most outstanding singers of Brazil) holds another 800-seated spectators. Both are equipped with boxes, and lavatories.

The Anhembi Park is easy to access from any side, and it has restaurants with the proper infrastructure to accommodate the disabled, while strictly complying with the CONTRU safety rules.

Many other spaces located all over the city of São Paulo will accommodate conferences, exhibitions, artistic exhibits, and workshops.
