Barcelona Forum scheduled the Pre-Open Forum a preparatory event to the Barcelona Forum on May 4 to 6, 2004, in Barcelona. Many personalities will attend the event amongst them São Paulo State SESC (Trade Social Service) Regional Director and Global Cultural Forum Council Director President, Danilo Santos de Miranda.
On May 6, Miranda will be presenting and debating the Global Cultural Forum proposal to be held in São Paulo from June 26 to July 4. Danilo Miranda will present the following objectives:
Bond international efforts and give space to the expression of an adequate agenda to more relevant questions of the non-hegemonic world.
Sum up local efforts from States and Nations aiming the world actual unequal strength relationships balance in order to promote peace and solidarity.
Targeting such objectives insert the center ness of the cultural subject in the cooperation scope between countries.
During 2004 many Regional Forum will take place in preparation to the event in São Paulo: Brazilian Forum, Latin American Forum and Forum all over the world.
