The monologue addresses the prison system endured by Black women and mothers in Brazil through the eyes of an inmate. Rose, a former nursing technician incarcerated in a provisional prison for mothers, spends her days helping women who are in labor or caring for their children. During a World Cup match, she sees the chance to organize an escape with her peers. Inspired by a 2009 case, when nine women holding their babies escaped the Center of Prison Progression in São Paulo through the front door, the narrative moves away from the rawness of the events. The story is told from the light, hopeful perspective of Rose, in a praise to utopia. 

Aysha Nascimento is an actress, ballet dancer, and theater director with a degree from Escola Livre de Teatro from Santo André (SP) and Anhembi Morumbi University. She is a cofounder of Cia. dos Inventivos and Coletivo Negro.   

Naruna Costa is an actress, singer, songwriter, and theater director. She has a degree from Escola De Arte Dramática and is a cofounder of Grupo Clariô de Teatro and the popular music band Clarianas.   

Jhonny Salaberg is an actor and playwright with a degree from Escola Livre de Teatro from Santo André (SP). He is a cofounder of the group O Bonde.
