A combination of theatrical show and concert, this work is a transdisciplinary performance in which the trans singer and songwriter shares his experience and his pursuit of self-knowledge. Eme’s performance includes singing, writing (spoken or projected on the scene), sound pieces, and expression through gestures, weaving together a poetic essay in which he navigates concepts like self-love and self-destruction, gender and religion, wounds and healing. The creation, as the artist defines it, is a reaction to fear, a dance in search of balance and a song to go with him in his journey. 

Eme is a trans singer/songwriter and a boy-girl since his childhood. An interdisciplinary artist and freelance cultural manager born in Lima who grew up surrounded by music in his family, who migrated from Ayacucho. He’s been creating songs since he was 16; he is a trained musician and clown and has taken part in theatrical productions. A singing producer who has been developing his own methodology. He released the album Raíz/Es in 2017 and is currently working on a new record, with all songs by him.
