Resumo
O presente artigo visa apresentar algumas reflexões sobre o lugar da memória de travestis, transexuais, lésbicas, gays e bissexuais nos museus,
patrimônios, monumentos e espaços de vocação museológica no Brasil. O estudo se inicia com algumas notas introdutórias que se esforçam em sintetizar aspectos conceituais, passando por um mapeamento breve do que de fato tem sido feito no Brasil em museus e espaços de memória relacionados à população LGBT, destacando-se a Revista Memória LGBT, até alcançar pequenas considerações finais. Trata-se, portanto, de uma proposta que procura articular memória, esquecimento, patrimônio e suas articulações com a questão LGBT.

Abstract
This article aims to present some thoughts on the place of memory of transvestites, lesbians, gays and bisexuals in the museums, heritage, monuments and spaces of museum’s vocation in Brazil. The study starts
with a few introductory notes that strive to synthetize the conceptual aspects, through a brief mapping of what actually has been done in Brazil in the museums and the memory spaces related to LGBT population, especially,
the Memory Magazine LGBT, to reach final considerations. This is, therefore, a proposal that seeks to connect memory, oblivion, heritage and their connections with the LGBT question.
