RESUMO
Abū-Nuwās (~757–815) é um dos mais famosos poetas árabes, que, por sua peculiar irreverência, foi elevado ao mundo das fábulas. Retratado, desde seu tempo, em histórias e anedotas, o poeta figurou entre as Mil e uma noites, a que cedeu suas características mais memoráveis, a eloquência e a perversidade. É reconhecido como um dos inovadores da poesia árabe, e seus versos de vinho ilustram o espaço social de Bagdá, quando a glória do califado de Hārūn Arrašīd teceu seu caminho até os sonhos.

ABSTRACT
Abū-Nuwās (~757–815) is one of the most famous Arab poets, who for his peculiar irreverence was elevated to the world of fables. Portrayed, since his time, in stories and anecdotes, the poet was among the Thousand and One Nights, to which he provided his most memorable characteristics, eloquence and perversity. He is recognized as one of the innovators of Arabic poetry, and his wine verses illustrate the social space of Bagh- dad, when the glory of Hārūn Arrašīd caliphate wove his way to dreams.
