Resumo
Diante do aumento do papel da internet no cotidiano dos jovens brasileiros, resultante da popularização da banda larga no Brasil e do aumento exponencial no número de celulares que permitem o acesso à internet, resta saber qual o real impacto dessa nova mídia sobre os hábitos culturais, e de que forma produtores culturais e artistas podem utilizar-se dela. O presente artigo explora esses pontos, analisando o status atual do uso de ferramentas digitais, sobretudo de websites e perfis em redes sociais, no cenário cultural brasileiro, bem como o impacto gerado pelos sites e blogs relacionados à cultura no país.

Abstract
Bearing in mind the growing importance of the internet in the day-to-day life of Brazilian youth, a direct result of the popularization of broadband access and the multiplication of smartphones that allow browsing the internet, we must now ask ourselves what is the impact of this ascending media over cultural habits, and in what ways cultural producers can use it; the following article briefly explores these issues, analyzing the current status of the use of digital tools, overall websites and presence on social media, in the Brazilian cultural scenario, as well as the impact of sites and blogs related to culture in the country.
